About the school

The South Plainfield, NJ campus of Lincoln Tech is built on a foundation of career training excellence that stretches back to 1930. That was the year Engine City Technical Institute was founded in Newark, NJ. It became a landmark school before relocating to South Plainfield in the 1970s; the campus became part of the Lincoln Tech family of schools in 2002. The campus has also expanded to include a welding technology program that opens even more doors for our graduates.
